TC CHRISTENSON - A LEGEND IN HIS OWN TIME

The original owners and builders of the
Hogslayer from New Orleans.

Mick Duckworth encountered TC by chance at the 2000 Norton Rally
during Daytona bike week. Appropriately dressed for someone who used
to be called "The little guy in black", TC was identifiable by his
SUNSET MOTORS t-shirt and its "Home of the World's Fastest Nortons"
slogan. He was attending the rally as a membder of the International
Norton Owners Association on his 125,000 mile Commando 850 with a
touring fairing and stereo sound system. Here is what Mick had to write:
Defying the might of Milwaukee, the provocatively
named "Hogslayer" was a 1620cc snorter that led the way in dragster
technology. The double-engined projectile stormed the American
drag strips in the mid-Seventies ridden by a short man named
Tom C. Christenson from a place that no-one had
heard of - Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA.
